About Butterfield House, 37 West 12th Street
Built in 1963, the Butterfield House is one of Manhattan's most notable post-World War II apartment buildings. It was designed by William J. Conklin and James S. Rossant of the architectural firm of Mayer, Whittlesey & Glass. It has 7-stories that are located on 12th Street and 13 stories on 13th Street.
